Food engineering master programme is with thesis and has formal education.Maximum allowed education time is 6 period. However, it can be completed in three periods if the needed credits are fulfilled in the first 2 periods and the third has invested in working for dissertation theory.Masters programme with thesis includes, required courses, elective courses, seminar study and thesis study on condition that sum of the credits must not be fewer than 90. One student can take maximum 36 credits.Food engineering, dairy technology , food hygiene, nutrition and dietetics, genetics and bioengineering, chemical engineering, aquaculture and agriculture(horticulture and zootechnics) faculty graduate students can apply to the programme.Programme contains no compulsory course only 21 elective courses.Following the end of course periods the thesis about a subject, which will be decided by advisor professor, must be submitted.After acceptance of the thesis, it is wanted from student to defense the thesis before jury committee. Graduates can work in research-development, production, quality assurance, marketing, imports and exports areas as engineers and managers.
