To apply for the programme; must be taken minimum 65 points ALES (Academic Staff and Graduate Education Test) and must be taken minimum 55 points one of these English exams (UDS, KPDS, YDS). In addition to this, graduated from one of these departments’ Master’s Programme with Thesis : Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Education (Automotive), Marine and Aircraft engineering.
Students must take 2 semesters for courses and 4 semesters for thesis study (totally 6 semesters) to complete programme. Students will have provided the requirements to take doctoral proficiency examination after taking 48 ECTS (8 courses) selective, 12 ECTS (semesters) research area. After doctoral proficiency exam, delivery for Phd Thesis; 24 ECTS (4 semesters) research area and 96 ECTS (4 semesters) thesis study (Totally 146 ECTS) must be completed. Except of courses, must be published minimum 1 article in indexed journals (SCI, SCI-Expanded, SSCI, AHCI) in order to graduate from this programme.
Students who graduate from the doctoral program will have such abilities: making independent investigation, gain a deeper and different point of view to make comment on a matter and determine the necessary steps to reach new inventions. After Doctorate’s Programme, graduates can work as those who may be able to put new products in scientific studies and R&D centers.
