The main purpose of the Ph.D. in the department of physics is to obtain the ability of making independent researches, to interpretate the scientific issues with widely and deeply examination and to specify necessary steps for reaching new synthesis to the student. To be accepted to the Ph.D. in physics, student must have one of the Physics or Physics Engineering masters degree from the Institutes. In this program with the scholars whom studying in General Physics, Atoms and Molecular Physics, Solid State Physics, Nuclear Physics and High Energy and Plasma Physics fields, students can do their doctorates. Ph.D. program contains compulsory/elective lessons, proficiency exam and thesis study with the total ECTS must not be lesser than 90. The student who doctorate in the Physics department can complete the lectures with taking 11 compulsory lessons for just Ph.D. and with the their interest of the studying field lessons which can be selectable between 44 post-graduate lessons. Students that complete their course load and succeed in their proficiency exam, can submit their Ph. D. thesis after the successful exam of the dissertation proposal and at least three thesis observation exam and fulfilling the publication requirement.
